"Widely admired" is exactly right.

I have had great respect for her.

Rest in Peace, Mrs. Bush.

No she wasn't and it isn't even close. Forget Jackie Kennedy, Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama, all of whom were more active in more beneficial causes than Barbara Bush. Barbara Bush was not even as good a first lady as Laura Bush. And that's just going back to 1960.

Barbara Bush was a cold and unfeeling person in general and parent in particular. She definitely did not follow Dale Carnegie's advice to "Be hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise."

Barbara Bush did not attend her own mother's funeral and when her daughter died of leukemia at the age of three, she played golf the next day. She never told George W that his sister was sick until after she had died and then never spoke of it after that.

It was Barbara Bush who, when refugees from Hurricane Katrina started coming to Texas said that she hoped they wouldn't stay too long.

She was not a nice person so you will forgive me if I don't shed too many tears; especially since she lived 92 years and never really wanted for anything.

And if you don't forgive me, I really could care less.

First he goes after the Gunny, and 12 hours later, this screed.

You are a sad pathetic person.

Here in Houston where she championed many causes and charities there are crowds of people singing hymns outside her church and her neighborhood.

I’m sure you’ll get the same turnout when you get dropped in the great post box in the sky. Make sure you wear your fabulous uniform for your burial. In fact compare yours to the Gunny.......I’d pass on the cute little shorts though..........
