Far from the greatest handicapper, but 9 looks better. Have always been leery of horses who've never shown an ability to rate. Many w/early speed here.

It is a 5 Furlong turf race.



There isn't much 'rating' involved. Most are speedball front-runners that need things to go their way or simply be the best horse, or they are off-the pace sorts that need everything to fall apart up front.


:9: looks extremely dangerous in this race to me to sit and get a great trip.

I took a shot with the 8 in my contest.

Would be my second choice.

Desormeaux is firing at 5% this meet and it is a Friday. He only has 2 mounts today. Tread with caution.
