And while we are on the subject, how come the Democratic party (and its many allies) never came down HARSHLY on hip-hop/rap music and its long history of offensive misogynistic and homophobic lyrics? I mean, there are articles written here or there bemoaning the subject...but if something like country music ever had such things widespread in its lyrics, there would be 24/7 news and protests / boycotts about it until the genre was permanently cancelled...and wiped from the archives/internet.
