Anybody have any insight? The underdogs were 3-0 straight up and ATS against the teams they are playing this weekend. I keep wanting to dismiss that as an aberration. That Buffalo team KC beat is damn good, and if the Rams did not come down with second half fumbleitis they would have blown out Tampa Bay. I keep wanting to bet a LA/KC two gamer by the spread for $280, a loss would leave me an even +2000 on the season and I would probably sit out the Super Bowl.

sharkey11 01-25-2022 03:22 PM

what kind of insight were you looking for?

sharkey11 01-26-2022 01:04 PM

im not sure if it was trends you were looking for inner but i found a couple road teams coming off a div. gm are 13-26 su and 17-24 ats home teams with a better record are 46-19 su and 37-27-1 ats :headbanger: gl sir

Any insight in to why I am nuts to think the Rams and Chiefs will cover easily, flipping the results from the regular season. Especially the Rams, as I believe every parlay I played betting against SF, they beat me.

sharkey11 01-26-2022 02:09 PM

he its all a coin flip so the best of luck to you sir

That is no help as when it comes to luck I have none. If I was trying to pick a coin flip I would be wrong 75% of the time.

Here are the stats I have for the Conference Championships:

*Home teams are 13-3 SU and 11-5 ATS in the last 16*

*Home favourites that are closing at 7+ points are 12-5 SU but only 6-11 ATS since 1999*

*Also to note that Home favourites 7 points or less are 14-5 SU and 13-6 ATS in the last 19 with these games favouring the Over with a record of 13-5-1*

*Teams that won by 7 points or less in the NFC/AFC Divisional Round are 2-15 SU and 6-11 ATS in the last 17 Conference Championship games which means that this current trend is for Cincinnati and San Francisco*

*Home teams are 13-2 SU and 10-5 ATS in the last 15 AFC Championships while in the NFC Championships 12-5 SU and 9-8 ATS in the last 17*

*Home teams that made the playoffs in the prior year are 20-6 SU and 16-10 ATS in the last 26 and 7-1 SU 6-2 ATS vs teams that were not in the playoffs the previous season which does apply to both matchups this year*

* #2 seeds hosting an AFC/NFC Conference Championship are only 4-6 SU and 4-5-1 since 1997 which applies to Kansas City here*

*Wild Card teams or #5 #6 seeds are 4-9 SU and 5-8 ATS since 1996 with in the last 11 seasons just 2-6 ATS*

*The last 9 AFC Championships are 6-4 Under while the NFC Championships are 14-5-1 in the last 20*

*Since 2003 the last 7 out of 9 Championships games with a total of 42 but less than 48 have gone Over*

Hope this helps!

KC-6.5 and Rams -2.5 parlay, tossing in Milwaukee Bucks money line at home tonight against the Knicks. $480 at +267, $280 of that is mine. Used a friend's bet MGM account as I am still in concussion protocol and not fit to drive the 250 miles to Charles Town and back. I damn near got lost having to detour around one lane roads due to construction when I decided to grab lunch at McDonald's, roads I have been on 100's of times. I know how Joe Biden feels, but my senility is only temporary.

The $280 is because that is the chump change I am betting, up $2280 on the season. I haven't been ahead on an NFL season in ages, and I want to keep some. Tossing in the Bucks tonight was to get back the cost off shaving a point each off the lines. Good luck to all!

What does 3 way and 6 way mean? I have never played props. You can't parlay them, correct?

Inner Dirt 01-30-2022 03:33 PM

I sure wish those KC defensive backs would not wear yellow gloves or shoes. That last play the yellow glove made me think I saw a flag for PA in the end zone.

3 way means that there are 3 different outcomes

For example, win loss draw(tie)
For my bet example, there were 3 different spreads to choose from +7 +10, and +14 I know that +14 was on there but not 100% sure about the other numbers

6 way is that you are betting on which team scores and by what method
For example, my bet was that Cincinnati will score a Field Goal in their first try but the other ways were Touchdown and Any other (safety etc)

Hope that makes sense

Inner Dirt 01-31-2022 11:51 AM

If you remove my point shaving I was 1-5 the last two weekends on the teams I put on parlay tickets, dropping the season to +2000. Without my 5 team division winner parlay I would have been -768. I don't think I will bet the Super Bowl as I do not have an opinion at this time. Being 5-5 by the spread picking games in the play-off does not instill confidence.

I might change my mind about betting in the next two weeks. Since they keep pulling upsets and the game looks like a toss up might as well take the Bengals as you either get 4 points or odds.

This will come down to Stafford, not very trustworthy in his decision making. Threw another ball up for grabs that was a easy interception 99 out of 100 times on that final drive.

Believe Rams defense will smother Burrow and the Begals offense.

Cincy was beyond fortunate to win the two games prior to beating KC. But sometimes things just roll that way.

Rams on the money line is what I favor. Believe they get running back Hendrickson to return but lost tight end Higbee.

Good luck Inner Dirt!

Inner Dirt 02-13-2022 04:11 PM

I flipped to the Rams, but the point is moot as I parlayed them with last nights NBA and lost one of the 4 games. That wraps up the NFL season at +$1400, on a -$1600 skid.
