Old TV Show

This show was before my time but elsewhere on the innernets it is being described as a lost classic. Anyone remember?

One of my older sister's favorites, as I recall , and I remember the title and premise .Of course at my age then(13 in 1967) ,Get Smart was my idea of sophisticated comedy.

It still is compared to what little I have had the misfortune to see on TV.

If I'm not mistaken, the writers ,Leonard Stern and Arne Sultan, were frequent contributers to Get Smart.

I remember that show - they moved into Rob and Laura Petrie's
house after she got a job on some TV news show and they moved out.

Yes but the 'main' writer of the series, and co-creator, was/is Buck Henry. Get Smart was my mom's favorite TV show at the time.

If Buck Henry's name doesn't ring a bell, then maybe you'll recall the seminal 1960s movie, The Graduate, staring Dustin Hoffman and mrs. reckless' former neighbor Anne Bancroft, Buck Henry was the registration clerk at the hotel where the infamous rendevous took place.
