Angry AND sad at the same time.

We're told how important it is to help the illegal immigrants streaming into this country. We need to be compassionate. We need to live up to our ideals. We need to be the shining light to those less fortunate. We need to educate them and provide them with healthcare.

Meanwhile, in our own country, we seem to have zero compassion and zero help for American citizens and American cities that desperately need our help:


You won't see this on CNN.

But you will constantly hear about the southern border.

Charity begins at home.

And all of them will get a mail in ballot...

I have a friend who is one of the "dreamers"...and she has been waiting for years for a legally-obtained green card, after having supplied the government with full documentation to prove that she is a gainfully-employed, tax-paying person with a clean record. She now tells me that it would be a speedier process if she leaves the country and re-enters via the wall.

That's a problem

Not true. We piss away millions on those whom, it would seem, prefer the streets. The overwhelming majority are either drug addicts or mentally disturbed, or both. I’d trade them for illegals any day.

Couldn't agree more. As an act of compassion...I once hired a drug addict to do some landscaping in my yard. The next day I discovered that he had come to my house stoned...and fixed my NEIGHBOR'S yard.

That video I posted wasn't some third world nation. It was supposedly taken on the streets of Philadelphia.

You're telling me that's the best we can do?

People strung out all over the place and a street full of garbage?

Wow.

We can hand illegal immigrants envelopes full of cash and instructions for getting on a flight to nowheresville...or put them on buses and set them up in some far-flung state willing to take them...but we can't do anything better for Philly...great.

We have a serious drug epidemic in this country. There is no shortage of getting your fix. And the war on drugs was propaganda. Somebody is getting very rich. At a huge cost to this country. What the answer is, I have no idea. Drugs are getting into this country faster than any illegal.

And they both come from the same place.
