When you believe an error in scoring has occurred, you may indicate via this thread, or you may send me your concern via e-mail or private message.

2012 Del Toga Contest Opening Day Results
 

Attached below in excel format are the results for day 1 (Wednesday) of the 2012 Del Toga Hybrid ROI Challenge.

Although proactive efforts have been taken to set everything up in advance, errors are most likely to occur at the beginning of a contest as the excel spreadsheet scoring template is formulated and all bugs are worked out. Please advise me of any errors ASAP, via posting to this thread, e-mail, or private message.

Players are required to sign off (in the appropriate thread) that they have read and understand the contest rules PRIOR to contest participation. Several players neglected to do so, and as such, their Wednesday selections were not scored. Upon meeting this requirement, their future plays will be scored.

Hate to trouble you with this, but I am unable to access the results spreadsheet on my computer. Seems like I need to download some free program or other, but I am at a loss as to how to do this.

Any chance you could provide me a link to the proper site? It looks like I need something called "Open Office," but I wasn't able to properly navigate to the site.

Anyone?

That's great, PA. Will something like that be available in plain text here every day?

I don't expect to be anywhere near the leaders here, but I like to keep up with the sharpshooters on top.

I will try and get the results up in text format as soon as I see they are up in EXCEL...

Hi TurfRuler,

No, this is the type of mistake that I typically will not catch. When entering the raw data into my spreadsheet, I only enter the horse's saddlecloth number. If I entered the names as well to use when checking against the results file, it would take another 60-90 minutes of effort each contest day. Over a contest like this one, that would add another 60-80 hours of work ON TOP of the time I currently spend to score the contest. Errors of this nature need to reported by the player.....thanks for doing so.

The exception to the above is when a player indicates that their selection is an entry, in which case I verify results by name.

The results sheet issued tonight will reflect your corrected score.
