How Laws are Passed and Career Politicians Get Wealthy

This is a very informative article about the general process of how laws are created and passed, and how career politicans and their families get so wealthy given the base salaries they are paid for their offices.

I'm sure the average citizen has almost no understanding or awareness of this process, and I confess that until just a few years ago, I was unaware of it as well.

It also helps one understand what is probably the number one reason Donald Trump is so hated and opposed by the current group of power brokers, particularly those in his very own party. As someone has said before, "There are Trillions at stake"!

It's bizarre how many people want to sit in denial as to how utterly corrupt our system is...

They'll say "well hey look, you don't have to bribe cops like you do in other countries....so...not corrupt...":lol::lol:

There was a joke about the difference between bribery/corruption in Euro-centric developed nations and third world countries, the punch line being something like: In the developed nations, at least you get a road built at the end of the day . . . I'm not so sure that's true anymore.

iIt is not a democracy if the law makers do not live under the same laws as the citizenry.

If you don't have term limits, you don't have democracy.

And that is double if your POTUS is not as cognitive as aa bowl of pudding.
