Can Cox help the :7: make up 4 lengths on the heavy chalk :4: in their rematch?
Price is right at 5-1 and he needed his last badly

Easy to be negative and question how Cox could move-up Dowse's Beach, who had become a bit dull for Cristophe Clement.

Sometimes it's just a case of a horse changing hands and becoming an exciting project.

We also saw more a more aggressive rider (Saez), employ more aggressive tactics today, and the expected pace didn't put up a fight.

Has always been a cool horse.

TOMBELAINE chased three then two wide through the turn, got roused angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid and was repelled to the finish.

:5: DANCING ALL NIGHT came up on my watch list, because she was the only one that made a move from off-the-pace in her debut. 1/5 chalk is a bit much.

I see that Serling picked the :1:...
Wish I knew why.

1 was highly regarded in that last race, and speed seemed to carry. 1 looked strong but wasn't making up ground.
Currently hovering about 2nd/3rd choice.

Quite a few of these races have no sound for the beginning of the Paddock coverage.

you see Serling's picks and you see the horses, but no sound.

Not sure if their sound is screwed up, or if Maggie and/or Andy simply aren't at a microphone for much of the card.

Takes them an hour to prepare for the belmont live program. I think its a mistake to have all that dead air.

It's peaceful, i guess.. , but media is precious.

They usually have Maggie trying to get a whole essay in the last 15 seconds

This time Maggie didn't get cut off, and got her whole essay in after the post parade, Migs talked up a couple warmups , and they cut off Serling as he started to talk.

Added distance should help the horse

Fightingirish51195 06-04-2017 04:18 PM

The 5 was a better horse today, but johnny v outrode Castellano again

Robert Fischer 06-04-2017 04:42 PM

I think the "Billy Joel Coverband" may be working the soundboard for the NYRA broadcast.
Same guys who roll replays and graphics during Talking horses.

1a kinda has an angle

2 is a good price for a decent horse, and Lynch's barn seems to be eating up and putting on good weight in general. Maybe an underneath addition?

:4: Is trained by Navarro the great, and although it's not trainer racing, this guy has horses that can run through brick walls, run huge races on the wrong lead, fire new form off of layoffs... His numbers in NY aren't good, but are simply a matter of time before they increase. If he can ship to the Breeders Cup, he can ship north to NY from Monmouth.

Robert Fischer 06-04-2017 04:49 PM

:7: COURNOYER ran a better race than his fourth will look on paper.

4 blasted off to a stakes pace and stopped
