redboard

only bet so far $1.00 P3 (PWHL) 1, 4, 5 / 5, 7 / 2, 3 $12.00

r4
need 5 or 7 here.

I know 7 is a Chad Brown, and she's trained pretty workout numbers, but her race wasn't all that great.
Now, I kinda wish I had used a couple more in the pk3.
Maybe I'll put together an exacta with a horse or 2 extra on top.

my backup

:1: = Andy made some good points
:3: = She looks beautiful. So good, I can excuse her weak race vs colts last.
:6: = Probably a dud, but she is a wildcard. Last race drew poorly and jogged after a bad 1st turn, in a race that didn't collapse. Worked well enough, shipped to NY.

DD over the 123 in race 5 (brings the total pk3+DD wager to $21)

Interesting race coming up here...Ortiz bros on the two speeds in this race...what will they do?

One is 6/5 the other is 7/2 and they are my top two picks.

My line:

:5: 3/2
:6: 9/5

Obviously the :6: is worth a bet here...but these two figure to beat each other up (on paper)...and the :5: has been on the shelf for a while...

I am going to pass this race, but thought I'd offer up my POV

PaceAdvantage 04-05-2017 04:45 PM

:5: breaks slow and :6: goes to front...lol

PaceAdvantage 04-05-2017 04:46 PM

both were also-rans...I feel smart again...how do you bet this :5: down to 4/5?

The jock who's the relative by marriage to the trainer didn't even want to ride, yet, the gamblers couldn't get enough.

Then again, I did have this horse at 3/2 on my line...so......

It's not always about the numbers, especially in short fields like this...sometimes it's worth it to dive deeper...sometimes it isn't.

What can you tell me about the :5: in this next race...before the race preferably...

I again like the Ortiz bros both in this race...I'm trying to decide if the :7: might be worth it against the huge chalk here...

My line:

:5: 6/5
:7: 5/2

I'm betting against it the horse is a 1 number filly who tripped out, she's supposed to win, but I'll be trying to do something exotically with the 1 and 4.

And I'll bet against minus show if there's a bit bet on the 5

PaceAdvantage 04-05-2017 05:10 PM

This :7: horse can't go 6 1/2...I really wish she could...maybe Irad "takes back" and lets her have an easy lead...and when he finishes up the track at 1/9 he can claim it was the layoff that did her in?

PaceAdvantage 04-05-2017 05:17 PM

I'm passing this race...8-1 even though an overlay on my line is still too short IMO
