Killer Robots okayed in San Fran

_______________

San Fran just approved allowing robots to kill criminal suspects -

am planning to visit there soon - don't plan on committing any crimes - but I hope there's no glitch and I don't get whacked by a bot

the age or Robocop is upon us

As long as cops don't shoot people. Robots, no problem

When I lived in SoCal I used to drive by the alley where he killed his first victim in Riverside, on the way to the OTB. I have read a lot, and watched a lot about the case. I think there was only one SoCal victim that was tied to him much later. I remember the headlines on the front page when I was a kid.
I think he either died, became disabled, or was incarcerated for other crimes. No way that guy stopped killing out of free will. Another one I find intriguing is

D.B. Cooper. I think he died in the jump, possibly landing in the river in a tangled chute and drowned. Since evidence found rare metals on his tie for the time period, it probably points to him being a supervisor or engineer in an aerospace facility. Why did someone not question when such an employee vanished without a trace?

I like saving LE’s lives.

I’m going with that.

I wonder how serious a crime it has to be before their program kicks in and gives them the green light to start blowing people away___________?

Right now I believe robots can only be armed with bombs, I wonder what kind. I think collateral damage could be a big concern.

Interesting, the shape of the face and ears match, the nose is wider and the hair part on the opposite side of the sketch. The sketch looks to have a high forehead, but for a sketch it is close enough. Eliminating the other subject for not being known to smoke might not be all that wise. I have known people who only smoke when upset or if they drank too much. A lot of those types will try to hide it. Thanks for the link. The titanium on the tie is a great clue,
it is a common metal now, but wasn't back then. I even have some in my material shed. Been machining since 1979, but did not use titanium till the late 80's.
