Georgia has to settle for ragdolling Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl.

But without their head coach who accepted the NC State job and will not coach NIU in the bowl game. Their OC has been promoted to head coach for the bowl game.

Honestly, I'm not sure what Oklahoma is crying about. They played two tough teams, at home, and lost them both. Why should they be in the BCS?

Even if it was Bowling Green or Western Mich, I'd root for any MAC team to take down the Semi-holes.

The one push was Cleveland, who literally saw the Raiders back door their way to a push with a TD on the last play of the game.

Spot on! and their bowl matchup is perfect against another team that lost 2 home games to top 10 competition. Outside of the NT game, the Cotton Bowl is the best matchup I see.

I agree, that should be the 2nd best of all the bowls - behind the MNC game.

I was actually debating a guy at work on why I thought 0u deserved to go to a BCS game.......His point was much what cj said - they played two top 5 teams, didn't look particularly good losing to them. They also were taken to the wire by some teams with bad defenses (West Virginia, oSu) and barely beat a TCU team that isn't very good either. The "best" win they had was over TEXAS....and only one team showed up that day- the other (UT) was really mediocre for the entire year....also, UTEP outplayed 0u much of their game in the opener

I'd have to agree, this wasn't 0u's year to go to a BCS game. Good team, but lots of teams are good this yr. NIU was a good choice
