Very classy and gutsy 3 yo old filly wins this , won their triple crown prior . Would love to see her here . Her Grandsire Sunday Silence has been Japans most worthwhile investment .

Still I wonder about her trip since the finish was so close . . After a twenty minute inquiry . Jock gets slapped with a two day suspension , he apologises for his ride but no DQ .

The main turf course is 2083 metres or exactly 1 1/4 miles.
2400 meteres( length of the Japan Cup race) is the metric equivalent to a 12 furlong race..It's actually 1.45 miles or 264 feet short of 1 1/2 miles.
