Just heard that he died yesterday. He was the announcer at the Chicago tracks in the mid to late nineties. I think he also was Battaglia's backup at Turfway. A very solid, underrated announcer who's trademark call was "....all alone" for a runaway winner.

Chicago racing has been hit hard by death recently, after Cilio and Smith Sr.
