Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) confirmed Thursday that she will seek the chairmanship of the Senate Budget Committee next year but told The Hill that she cannot commit to doing a budget.

True, Tom, but it's tough to serve two masters. Both parties are gonna butt heads (buttheads is right) over this fiscal cliff nonsense, playing politics for all it's worth.

Say hello to middle management. Having to serve two masters is the least of your worries. The senator needs to serve time in the public sector to prep for her current gig.
