A local TV station did a news bit on Sonoma State University building a stable and getting investors at $1,000.00 each for 2 Sonoma Fair thoroughbreds! They said they buy 2 more and 15 other colleges want to get into the horseracing business! This could be something to give racing a big shot in the arm as alumni are investing and this could result in widespread ongoing general interest!
