I got back, the last time, from SE Asia in 1975 and was introduced to horse racing in 1978. The difference in mind set and mental struggles, after meeting the thoroughbred horse compared to the previous years was profound, and I wasn't even deep "in the sh_t" over there. I can't even imagine what the guys in the bush went through during and after their tours. Thoroughbreds are amazing animals!!
