Does anybody have the actual dates for this year's Aqueduct Inner Track Meet?

We need these dates to set up Contest 1 for the 2013 P.A.C.S. season

The latest condition book goes through December 9th and we are scheduled to be on the main until at least then.

Call me silly, but I imagine any response would basically mimic that of TLG.

Why do I even bother?

Why do I even bother?Because you're a good guy and took note of the fact that I was okay with waiting for your update.

The date usually is never set in stone, it depends on weather and track condition which makes any date that they have in mind, flexible.

That's actually not necessarily true. The inner has started, and been scheduled to start, on the first Wednesday after Thansgiving for more than a few years. This is the first year that has deviated from that in a while.

Skeptics will believe when "the inconvenient truth" of year-round turf racing arrives at NYRA. ;) ;) ;) ;)

The temperatures have been below average in much of the North East this fall

It would have made more sense to start the Inner Track meet after Christmas break. They're going to race for a week on the Inner and go dark for 9 days after that. Wrapping up racing on the Main prior to taking the Christmas hiatus would have allowed a more natural kickoff to the winter racing season.

I've actually enjoyed seeing the Main Track get "used" this year. It seemed like for years, Aqueduct's lot in life was the Inner Track, with the Main existing only to host the major event days in the Fall/Spring. Don't get me wrong, Aqueduct is NY's winter racing "mecca" (and I use that term loosely), and the Inner has its place, but the Main oval has more historical value, and has played home to many a Hall of Famer and big event day over the years. I hate to see the Main get lost in the shuffle.
