Ok we need to start cutting... could start with trimming say....

$1.576 billion, National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities.... Yes Big Bird should be on the chopping block.

Pork Barrel (http://grist.org/food/the-other-white-meat/) spending: How Big Ag lobbyists use federal dollars to protect factory farms. Checkoff programs are nothing but trouble; $600 million worth of trouble annually.

Do We Need any more like These Top 10's (http://blog.heritage.org/2012/10/16/top-10-examples-of-wasteful-federal-spending-in-2012/)

A reality TV show in India. The Department of Agriculture’s Market Access Program spends $200 million a year to help U.S. agricultural trade associations and cooperatives advertise their products in foreign markets. In 2011, it funded a reality TV show in India that advertised U.S. cotton.

Or

“RoboSquirrel.” $325,000 was spent on a robotic squirrel named “RoboSquirrel.” This National Science Foundation grant was used to create a realistic-looking robotic squirrel for the purpose of studying how a rattlesnake would react to it.

And of course Oh Bah Ma Phone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr201FqTP4w&feature=player_embedded) :

What else could be trim for the good of the nations.... I'm sure you have some to add.

Stop funding nominating conventions. I don't care if it's only 40 or 50 million, it's a waste. If they can raise $3B for TV ads, they can pay the freight to babble on and on in front of their loyalists.

No tax money should be allocated to any campagnes - icluding SS protection. SELL it to them, but free? No way.

Will Obama pay back the money he stole from us for all his 100% political trips on AF1? The man is a thief.

they could get on the right path in 2 seconds flat. very simple, just get rid of the fractional banking system and the federal reserve. there will be a ton of pain throughout the world for over a decade, but we would not have to lose our reserve currency status.

Get rid all benifits for congressmen and senators. No government health insurance for them unless they are old enough for medicare. Cut their staffs at least in half. Make their pay the same as a private in the army. All these guys can afford to pay their own way. There are no poor people in congress. This is drop bucket of needs to be done, it is a start. We could do the same for the president and cabinet members. They are always talking about it being public service, lets make it real public service.

Amen, RG. The best yet. They would work harder to improve things, if they had to deal with the same crappy systems that we do.

TELL GOVERNMENT TO GET OUT OF BUSINESS AND LET THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYTEM TAKE CARE OF ITSELF. Our government has its nose in too many places it should not be.

The part that really rubs me wrong is to bail out GM and Chrysler when Ford has never declared bankruptcy, to the best of my memory.

Is Ford really that much smarter? If so, then the next time GM declares bankruptcy give it to Ford.

I really don't believe government should be involved in business.

But...evidently I am the only one....

Blink! U.S. Debt Just Grew by $11 Trillion

Republicans and Democrats in Congress a year ago could not figure ways to cut $210 billion a year for a decade. Meanwhile, the real debt grew by $11 trillion.
Obama will not be able to dodge and weave for the next four years bitching and moaning that it is all Bush's fault. Once the Bush tax cuts go out of existence January 1st, the resulting recession will be all Obama's fault. He knows it, the Republicans in Washington know it, and the Democrats in the Senate know it.

Correctamundo, Roberto!
And, term limits - no mmore than one term any office.
Those who make the laws must be forced to live under those laws.
We have a governemtn that makes rules for us and refuse to live under them themselves. We are better off with no governement and having to fend for ourselves.

We are more controlled than Communist Russia ever was. Under our system, we think we are free so we remain sheep. We are what Russia was trying to accomplish.

Here is another idea....

Ok Nixon "Criminalized Cannabis" in 1970-71 and the War on Drugs had a budget of $100 million. The impact of this act has been the ruin of many as now Pot was the same a Coke in the eyes of the law. In 2010 it's $15.1 billion a year up 5 billion from 09, 31 times Nixon's amount even when adjusted for inflation. And we are nowhere nearer to stopping addictions. I think the Fed's should reconsider the 72 law tax it... like alcohol.

I'm not advocating drug use in any way... just saying 42 years and a over a Trillion Dollars and we have nothing to show but wreck and ruin. So with States looking at legalizing Cannabis maybe the Fed should also. We could get Billions in TAXES instead of SPENDING BILLIONS.
