BC2013, non-venue ideas

After a couple years spending $$$$ to attend BC in person at Santa Anita, a group of us has decided to look into different venues to watch, bet, eat, and drink for BC '13. We'll more or less go anywhere in the US. Having live racing at the same time would be a plus but is not 100% necessary.

Who can reco a decent place based on their own experience? I'm hoping since BC '12 just finished, ideas and opinions may still be fresh.

I was surprised how good the HRTV and Santa Anita feed were this year - maybe your group of friends should pool your money and go to one of your houses - and use the money not spent on travel and take shots on the rolling P3 and P4s (as long as you are looking at alternatives against seeing the runners / trainers / jockeys / owners / crowd in person).

Come to Aqueduct. NYRA usually has a decent card on BC Saturday and the buffet inside the casino is top notch.
