Scooter Davis suspended again

Ruling Text: On August 7, 2012 the Mountaineer Board of Stewards conducted a hearing regarding allegations set forth in a Notice of Hearing issued to Scooter Davis on July 27, 2012. On August 15, 2012, the Charles Town Board of Stewards conducted a hearing regarding allegations set forth in a Notice of Hearing issued to Scooter Davis on July 30, 2012. On August 17, 2012, the Mountaineer Board of Stewards and the Charles Town Boards of Stewards (hereinafter the Stewards) met by telephone conference and decided to consolidate these matters and issue a joint ruling. Based on the hearing, the Stewards hereby SUSPEND Scooter Davis’ occupational permits for a total of 180 days beginning on August 26, 2012 and up to and including February 21, 2013. In addition, the Stewards hereby FINE Scooter Davis in the amount of $5,000.00. This fine shall be paid within seven days of the issuance of this ruling. The Stewards conclude that this suspension and fine is warranted due to the particular facts of this case and the presence of multiple aggravating factors. In sum, the suspension and fine that exceeds the maximum penalty recommendation for a second offense Class 3/Category B is warranted in this case.

I remember he got taken down a couple of weeks back. I believe he is serving his days. He is back in the entries on Saturday though.
