One of the most frequent selection posters has been out since he was "Posting till the power goes out." Apparently Chris has been affected by the storm Sandy, so I just wanted to send a few prayers and well wishes out to the guy, who's always great to deal with here on Pace Advantage, and shares so unselfishly. Chris profile states he is in Long Island NY......I do not know how far out he lives or inland or shore line...what I do know is Long Island got hammered by high winds and high water. Many Many people are without power, and living quarters.

Hopefully, his lack of posting is due to the effects of an extended power outage...which is still affecting hundreds of thousands of people on LI....

Not sure where on LI he is located, but there are still 460K customers without power out of 945K that were affected. They are working feverishly to get power restored with reinforcements pouring in daily. Thankfully we got ours back last night (from Monday 1pm) as restoration and cleanup continue. Many places still looks like a war zone, and gas is non existent right now. My heart goes out to all those who lost everything, including 6 of my friends. :(

Just got an insight on this mess and the clean up process going on in and around NY burroughs and on LI.

A person mentioned he saw on TV with cameras rolling, Good Samarians working away at cleaning up downed trees and tree branches. Nice right

Along comes a code enforcement FRMN$$#$ M and asked to see the guys License and permit to do this "job" while TV camera are rolling. Well, the Good Samarian DID not have the creditals. He was ticketed and told to cease work .

WTF


Sounds like governmental money gouging to me.
