Steelers uniform

I have never seen a sports uniform as bad as the Steelers' gear today against the Redskins.
Both teams are wearing throwback outfits (circa 70s) and the Steelers, in particular, look dreadful!
They look like bumble bees..... :D

With about 10 minutes left in the game, they posted a graphic that Redskin receivers had 8 drops...Hankerson dropped an easy would be TD. Should've been closer than it was.

True, but "RG receivers dropped a bunch of passes" just doesn't roll off the tongue like "RG3 and out"

i posted elsewhere this game was going to be UGLY. the unis are from 1933~ the year Art Rooney bought the team and these where the first uniforms the team used. supposedly close to rooneys heart.

Totally pumped here...promised sister's steeler-loving hubby and his likewise disposed son that i'd get tickets for a game this season. pal of mine came thru with 4 great seats for san diego game, he somehow got them free, refused to accept a dime. bill and colin slated to fly in from san fran.. 4 some for dec 9 game will include my brother gary.

bro in law and nephew originally from pgh area, moved west long ago. they've never been to a steeler game and THINK they know what's coming..but the sights , sounds, fury -and beer consumption -to come just can't be described in advance.

on a personal note, had ruff time in san diego when i was much younger, desperate and had no prospects. lost my dad there as well, and missed pgh area like a physical pain. endured taunts at work from rabid charger fans basking in apex of air coryell. upcoming game has thus become religious pilgrimage for me..want to scream at city that nearly destroyed me.."i'm still standing, and so are the pgh steelers"

revenge is a dish best served cold.
