Only one dog in the group (K-State) but it worked out.

Seems like the guy should have won more, no? The degree of difficulty seems like it might be higher than what he got paid.

ABSOLUTELY.

This story smelled the moment I read it. This guy was one of the normal 'Heavy Chalk' betters who parlayed almost all those and then may have taken KSU with the points.

From the comments, not the badly written story designed to hook people into making these idiotic wagers:

If I extrapolate the payoff odds to a 23-team parlay, the payout would be in the neighborhood of the hundreds of millions for a $100 bet. The odds of winning a 23 team parlay are about 4 million to 1.

Thanks Rook, i was too lazy to do the math, but if i hit a 'pick 23' with 23 even money shots and 9 to 10 shots, i'd expect a little more than 25 large.

Quite a few of his teams weren't even money shots. There were a number of -300 and -400 plays.

Aah, maybe that's it, i was just assuming he was betting sides at -110.

Thanks V.
