Hello Cappers! A return to the selection board for the KidCapper today. I'll keep the same betting pattern here. $10 WP on top pick and roll the pick 3's for the dollar. (3X3X3=$27 each). The picks...
Race -1 The :2: . Half of an uncoupled Richard Dutrow entry in here. I think either could win this but we'll tab this one on top. Jockey change to Rosario today on the good turf course. Trainer hits at 15% with 2nd time starters in the barn. (2-6-11)
Race -2 The :2: . 12-1 ML shot in what I see as a wide open race here. In a race loaded with speed, this runner is the lone closer of the bunch. Toss last as the beaten favorite with the bad break. Take a chance play here. (2-1-5)
Race -3 The :2: . Hard to get past the winner of the CT Oaks last out. Stretches out for the 1st time with the 2 sprints to a route angle which Brown hits at 40% with. 3 solid works coming in to boot. (2-1-4)
Race -4 The :7: . Puts the blinkers back on for Levine hitting at 12% with the move. Keeps Ramon on for the ride today after the poor trip last out. Should be real tough off the freshening for 18% layoff trainer. (7-4-1)
Race -5 The :3: . Gets Lasix for the 1st time for McPeek, a 19% trainer move. Appears to be the speed of this field with Castellano up. High last race Bris figure to boot. (3-7-12)
Race -6 The :2: . Taking a shot here with this 8-1 shot. 2nd time off the layoff for a 13% Miceli move. Has a win at this track and tricky 7F distance to add some intrigue. Price is right. (2-4-10)
Race -7 The :1a: . Winner of back-to-back off the turf races on the main track and 2 for 2 over the Belmont surface. Most of his races were on turf or poly which makes the last 2 races even more impressive. Goes for 3 straight today. (1A-11-10)
Race -8 The :9: . Just missed at this level off the layoff last out. Was bumped slightly at the break which may or may not have cost this one the victory. Should be sharper 2nd off the layoff. (9-11-3)
Race -9 The :2: :2b: . This entry looks tough in here with the :2b: being my top selection. 3rd time off the layoff for Albertrani. Ran 2nd as the favorite last out for trainer who hits at 29% next out. (2-2B-9-4)
Race -10 The :5: . A race full of horses who don't like to win. We'll take the fresh horse off the layoff for Nicks. Drops a level for a 20% trainer move. High career Bris figure came at this distance on the turf too. (5-6-13)
Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper!!
