I can never remember which is which: isn't Chicago style pie the flat, skiiny kind with no taste? Or, is that New York style. ;)

I have very fond memories of a pie shop in Del Mar that has not be around for a long time. Carnegie A-440 pizza. Great pies with fantastic toppings. First time I ever had a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, and, a Dr. Brown's cream soda. It was an instituion of radio station DJ's from all over San Diego.
