.. for those t-bred carryover pool watchers, if you have the desire to switch over to the 'dark side' for one night, Woodbine harness has a $298,000 pick 7 carryover. I would imagine it's going to go over the half million dollar mark. You can play it for a dollar as well.

(Post time for first race is 7:40, the pick 7 starts in race 3)

SQ,

--I believe if no one has all seven winners on their Pick 7 ticket at Woodbine harness on any given race day, then there are daily consolation prizes paid out for the most winners picked on that gimmick. Then, of course the carryover portion of the Pick 7 pool would continue on to the next race day.

--On Fri. Jan. 23/04 at Woodbine, the Pick 7 consolation prize was paid out on 6 out of 7 for $31,622. Not bad! I'm guessing with a consolation payout like that, that only one winning ticket was sold.

SQ,

--I'm guessing there were only 3 winning tickets sold on the winning PICK 7 at Woodbine on Sat. Jan. 24/04. The total pool (according to the info at the Standardbred Canada website) for this exotic wager was just over $318,000.

--Must have been a nice feeling to have a winning ticket on this particular PICK 7.
