A little late posting so comments will be brief. $10 WP on top pick and roll the pick 3's for the dollar. The Picks:

Race -1 The :6: . 3rd time off the layoff for Sherman hitting at 16% with the move. Drops into the claiming ranks for another 13% angle. 21% AW to dirt trainer to boot. (6-2-7)

Race -2 The :4: . Ran a good 3rd at Fairplex last out and catches a less than steller field here. (4-8-5)

Race -3 The :4: Ran an even 5th in the ambitious G1 attempt last out. Drops back in with friends today for a 25% trainer move. Baffert on fire as of late and hits at 11% with 1st time turfers. (4-2-3)

Race -4 The :5: . 3rd career start for Periban who hits at 15% when going from AW to Dirt surfaces. Dmr runner finished a solid 2nd in first start vs winners last out. (5-7-6)

Race -5 The :4: . Last seen at Dmr finishing a solid 2nd. Owns the right running style for Miller who can have one ready to fire fresh.(9-4-2)

Race -6 The :10: . Off the layoff for 17% layoff trainer Hollendorfer. Has a solid string of works for this at Bhp and Bejarano takes the mount. (10-1-8)

Race -7 The :7: Goes dirt to turf for a 30% trainer move. Drops in class after a solid 3rd vs better on dirt. Should improve with the surface switch. (7-4-1)

More to come......

Don't beat yourself up Kid!
betting place only, you'd have lost 20 cents
betting show only, you'd have lost 60 cents.

your picks were good enough.

(strangely enough, I have had more than a few winning days betting show only, and upon review, I would have lost...quite a bit, had I bet to win only.)

Then, of course, there are THOSE DAYS, when a majority of those show tickets waltz home on top.

Best not to get all buried in greed in this game, it will humble you quickly.

ps, as Kid never fin. his results for us I will do it for him....none won!

Hang in there kid. We've all had days like that. You did a lot of work on this card don't forget to spend a few more minutes going over the results for hints of an edge for next time.

Sorry for not finishing my results, I usually try to. It was bowling night and well after a few beers and the Monday night football game....let's just say it was not high on my priority list. lol. Yep it was one of those days at Santa Anita for me. Funny how this game works...had a good run at Belmont the same day. Wins some lose some. Here are the final results here. (turn away if you don't like horror films).

Straight Bet $200
Straight Ret $70
Straight Net-$130

Pick 3 Bet $ 216 for the card and the "whiff" on all of them.

Sorry if ya followed this thread. :bang: Feel free to review my Belmont thread from the same day. It's the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of handicapping.

Til next time. May The Horse Be With You.
