VOSBURGH:

Royal Currier is interesting here at a nice price. May not be able to handle Gr1 types but certainly digs Bel and can handle 124lbs....not many have handled that impost.
Sean Avery is a player imo and also Fort Loudon at his best distance.
For me i'm looking at a 1-5-7 with a win bet on the 5-7.
Rothko is the one to fear and Justin Phillip too, but the latter seems in line for a minor award at best today.
Tough race here...who ya like??

12f is just what Finnegan's Wake needs.
He also likes less than firm turf and he's got that today.
Play under the two big chalks 2-4 and a win bet

I thought that was an excellent ride by Velazquez on Point Of Entry just now.
He forced Spencer on Treasure Beach to go on, and at the same time took Little Mike out of the race. But he always knew what Point Of Entry had left and won very nicely.
Point Of Entry a very good 12furlong horse -- definitely in my notebook as a live contender for the BC Turf.

Is :8: San Pablo being overlooked in the JCGC?
He can share at 18-1

POE is the only one so far today I was impressed with.
Unfortunately, he meets Euros in the BC and I doubt anything here will beat them. Not a lot of BC material on winning here today.
But POE is the one, if anything will beat them. Great race today.

JCGC play:

EX:
1-4 w 1-4-8-9
WIN:
4-8

don't like any of the others at all in this race. Can't have any of the 3yr olds and Ruler On Ice & Stay Thirsty have been humbled ever since they turned 4 and tried older.
Just got the feeling Fort Larned has peaked (twice) and is due for a step backwards at Big Sandy today.

who can handle 126lbs?
Betting that Fort Larned cannot

Ramon dropped the whip on Stay Thirsty late but i think Flat Out had him anyway.

Was it the weight???
Only Ruler On Ice (who won a bad Belmont), Stay Thirsty and Flat Out have won under 126lbs...hmmmmm.
Fast Falcon (who ran 4th) just missed under 126lbs in the Travers

Weight DOES matter

Ramon loses the photo every single time against an exceptionally strong finisher like Rosario. (Unless Rosario is on the super hanger Somali Lemonade.)

Horse wins if Castellano stayed on.
