Imo the 49ers and Giants were clearly the best teams in the NFL at the end of last year....(think TBrady would have had a tough time moving the ball against SF had they been in the SB)
Despite the loss I still believe SF is the class of the NFL....but as Valuist mentioned in another thread......it may be difficult to make another step forward after the giant step they made last year.
Im kinda glad they lost in a way and hope they fly under the radar from now on...still my pick to take another step and win it all.
In a way its cool to see you may be able to win with defense in todays NFL..(this coming from someone who thought SF was going to get destroyed vs. the Saints in last years div round)
