A passenger on the monorail that circles the Bronx Zoo jumped down twenty feet into the tiger den, and was badly mauled by one of the big cats before zoo personnel with fire extinguishers were able to drive the tiger back into a holding area.

The man (who faces charges because of his little escapade) reportedly "wanted to be one" with the tiger.

Reminds me of a limerick that John Kennedy indirectly referenced in his inaugural address:
