It's a flawed poll to begin with. Why are male whites separated by age? Females have no qualification for age OR race...

There is no ulterior motive for putting this poll out there, other than seeing where the site users fall demographically.
I figure the readership is at least 50% white males over 50. I am one of those. No big deal. I'm not doing market research, therefore there is no need for many sub-categories.

As written, this is asking what type of people does one think of when one thinks of PA members. It isn't asking what group on this list we individual posters identify with.

We are a diverse group. We all should be respetful of that. People can be wise, ass-holes, or anywhere in between, and it has nothing to do with their physical charactaristics.

The thing is, though, we are not all that diverse.
An accurate portrayal (which this survey will not be) of horse bettors will put the majority as male, and over 50. The race part doesn't matter.
I just put it in there because I doubt that minorities are well represented on this forum. The same could be said for females.

As I said earlier - no conspiracy, no ulterior motive, no attempt to get people at each others' throats.
Never takes much to achieve that anyway, it seems.

But are they voting that they themselves are white males over 50, or that they think of PA members as white males over 50? I mean, yeah, I'm a white male over 50 (53), and I knew going in that there were likely more white males over 50 posting here, but one shouldn't assume anything about individual posters. The poll may reflect some basic reality, but I wouldn't look at the results too scienficially.

Frankly, I'm still hoping to find a nice single family candidate near Chicago to be a possible future Mrs. Statman Steve. I'm so glad for all the ladies that do take the time and post here, and follow the races, married or single. :)

There might be more replies and better results asking this question in a Racing forum, a lot of people haven't heard about off-topic or may avoid it. Alsough there are some in here that are only in here and rarely if ever post in a racing topic. So you'll catch some of us here, but definitely not the majority of the posting members, let alone the few thousand casual posters and lurkers.
