:6:, Upkeep: two against the grain efforts: 1st time out and last time. Cutting back and supposed to sit a trip and beat these. Unless, of course, Contreras is in a hurry again.

:11:, Grand Arch: nice debut; stretching a bit off short break. Contreras, who probably moved too soon, off; Da Silva up.

:1:, Responsive Eye: Husbands/Casse: 2nd time out; getting some play. can't leave out.

:3:, Will He Won't He: middle move last out; has gone longer than these; My price play. Need > 25:1 to take McAleney, however.

11 got really hit late. 1 was pretty dead on the board. I took the 6 and 11 on top in exactas over the others: 6 numbers total. Contreras insisted on dueling for the lead with the 6 and set it up very nicely for the 11. 3 (24:1) came on late to complete a nice exacta.

:2:, Miss Scarlett Road: Husbands replaces the moronic Ramsammy; got that Ramsammy premature special last out; adds 1/2 furlong tonight.

:3:, Olivia's Song: nice effort 3 back going 7F.

:6:, Total Bliss: co chalk

:5:, Princess Pik: some ok races.

nice hit on a 4 box

Itamaraca

took the 2 on top of the others. she had dead aim entering and just couldn't get by. the 3 also loomed in the stretch but hung as well.

ran 7-2-4-3

nice hit on a 4 box

I'm playing over 30 years and I've yet to box 4 horses.

R4:

:3:, Krz Executive: 2nd time out; blinkers on; tried a rail run last out in a race with little movement. Adds .5F. Not much to beat in here.

:2:, Yoshi Mori: speed and Ramsammy stays up.:jump:

:8:, Cafe Au Lait: Day-Phillips stumbling and bumbling trying to find the right spot for this one. Chris Griffith ads to the fiasco.

Itamaraca

Day-Phillips finally gets it done with this one. :jump::jump:

And my boy Ramsammy gets the place. :jump:

I passed this one: the odds were too low and the risks too high.

ebox would've shown a small profit

WO R5: bad bunch going 2 turns

:7:, Pegu: Brnjas has two in here and this one is dropping and the better option (the 4 has bar shoes on).

:2:, Gold Book: like this one's last race. Chernetz rides and she's blown 3 in last couple of weeks (out of limited rides). Probably as bad a jock as you'd want and we get 7:1. :bang:

:5:, Celestial Fire: some decent races; some bad rides. 10F last out should tighten this one up. Will be tough.

:10:, Gloucester Bay: 2nd in that 10F race last out; 2nd time started; chalk; supposed to improve

Uh huh: C R U S H

Sky got the inside run throughout; took the lead briefly; had the 5 draw on her; then came back late to get up at the wire. She had to win one sooner or later. I played this one perfectly (chart pointed out that this one was better than the 5 when they last met). I had the 2,5,7 on top; didn't use the chalk on top, as the 5 ran better than that one last out. Had a decent exacta and tri bet. Also had a very small super. 7 ran game to the wire, as well.

WO r6:

:1:: Iwillgotothemoon: like this one's last race; even though it was on the turf. Should be very tough here.

:3:: Gangster Rap: JUICE Jordan, returning after short layoff. Have to use this one defensively.

:4:, Octavo: better and better races; but this is probably a better field. Odds are right, however.

:5:, Payton's Victory: the closer in the race

man. that was BIG BALLOONS but it could've been a MONUMENTAL CRUSH. Hank's Hill is one of my 'boys' and I deliberated before leaving him out and going with the Jordan Juice -- tri paid $2098 for $1. But I can't get greedy. I had a WIN bet on Octavo and I had him in exactas over the 1/1a, 3 and 5. This horse is a perfect example of how to properly interpret a 'FORM CYCLE' with my charts.

huge night, to say the least; maybe some of the PA luminaries will stop by and offer some congrats.

P.S. I was 'owed' this one after getting headed at the wire with that 57:1 shot over the weekend.

Wo R7-8

R7:

:1a:, Lady Geegee: like her last race.

:8:, Variable Rate: Attard turfer back to AW

:5:, Ice Queen: Husbands/JUICER JORDAN stretching out for the 1st time; heavy chalk; screwed if you do, screwed if you don't

R8

:3:, Novo: against the grain last out.

:2:, Broulan: speed; but maybe she shot her load last time

:7:, Sheza Rounder: Chernetz tries another one.

Skye (on the :2: ) does it again. Duels with the 8 around the track then comes again on the inside to nip that one at the wire. DaSilva had dead aim on the top two the length of the stretch and rode like a pussy, missing by 1/2 length. he's real good on a loose lead, however.

ran 2-8-1A-3

the JUICER burned some more money with the 3:2 :5:; never threatening and not hitting the board

Itamaraca
08-22-2012, 10:25 PM
damn: the 2 went off 7:2 and the 3 was 4:1; the chalk was the 5, 5:2. yet the 2-3 is paying $13 (for $1); the 3-2 $14; the 2-5 $25. talk about an underlay in the exacta pool.

and Skye gets nosed for 3rd, giving it up very late.

Why props...maybe congrats for a redboard...but in reality...

What...in review...you posted 4 horses...but you didn't say HOW you were playing it...it's easy to say...yea I made a win bet on 3rd of 4 horses posted  ...w/reasoning AFTER the fact...on WHY you zero'd in on the 4..

Nice write-ups before...   ...but no SPECIFIC reason why you're betting THAT horse and HOW...outta the 4 horses posted

so congrats
no props tho

Over 200 people view this thread and you're the best I get? :bang:

Point me to another thread where someone CRUSHES a card even remotely close to what I did here.

Let me get this straight:

I not only have to give out the horses (BEFORE THE RACE) but I have to PRECISELY specify how I bet them before I can get 'credit' and not have it classified as a REDBOARD?

How about I just settle for CASHING?

saw you hit race 5? and then looked at the write-up for race 6 and didn't really have time to look into the :4: Octavo.

wish I did.
