"Getting on top of the financial crisis" would be far more effectively achieved by addressing the fundamental causes of that crisis -- the forced transfer of enormous tranches of the public money of individual states into the coffers of the global banking conglomerates -- rather than beating down on some few misfortunate individuals seeking asylum from war, oppression and hunger.
What we are presently witnessing is the biggest robbery of nations sovereign wealth in history by the Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan's of this world -- whilst at the same time we search for scapegoats in the guise of penniless immigrants and their families.

I am a European, and what is happening on this continent makes me ashamed to be a citizen of same. Humanity, compassion and common decency is daily being extinguished in a race to the bottom while already impoverished states (Greece) are compelled to feed the obscene greed of the super-rich international banking elite.
