10th@Mountaineer~ 1m &70y Clm5000N3Y (non-winners 3 in 12mo.) 8/21
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Half the field got their last win in Wire-2-Wire fashion, so expect solid pace.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Elusive Schemes (12/1ml)- Off Slow in 3-of-4, wired easier from outside
post vs. N2-12mo. last out. Needs alert break from rail. ML price entices.
2) Kera's Kitten (6/1)- 3 Solid Local starts, Big Beyer Edge on paper. Other
pace in race makes repeat tough. Odds-On in 4-of-last-5,so if you bet B4...
3) Built To Precision (10/1)- Drops from OPEN $5K Claimers, another runner
w/designs on lead. Note positive rider switch,but 50's Beyers won't get "W".
4) Dance Floor Maniac (3/1ml fave)- Biggest Class-Dropper in field, has been
facing much tougher last pair. Draws outside 3-of-4 other speed. Watch for
early speed bias ontrack; any scratches of 1,2,3,or 9 would help chances.
5) Smoke'n Review (12/1)- Change to stalking tactics led to facile win over
N2-12mo. foes. 10YO might find these too salty, Tri/Super BCS.
6) Sir Deputy (20/1)- filled Super w/trouble line in last. Beyers say "NO" to win,
but w/similar stalk may fill Tri/Super again.
7) Bank Of Dad (6/1)- 13-for-54 Win mark impressive, running style perfect,
but note has gone from 3 prolific winning Barns to low-profile one. Demand$.
8) Merlin Bay (9/2)- Tough beats last pair, closer has Bonnistar's number
& plenty of pace to run into. Bracho sticks, under must-use.
9) Bonnistar (5/1)- Newfound speed last pair no asset in this spot.
Was used as Rabbit for entrymate in last. Tough post, low ML, tread lightly.
10) Tax Man Sam (6/1)- New kid in Town will be eligible for easier N2-12mo.
condition in 10 days. stalking style no bargain from 10 post. Watch & wait
for easier spot next out is he proves competitive here.

(Early Look: Watch Track Bias & Scratch Sheet for Pace scenario. Dance
Card might be class, but should be crowded on front end. Bank of Dad on
paper looks best closer, but trainer change leaves doubt. use 4,7,8 in DDs)

9th@Mountaineer~ 6F Alw$33,700NC (Open Allowance) 8/21
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whole race shape/value depends on whether 8/5ML fave runs, or scratches.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Big Albert (10/1ml)- 4YO Shipper eligible for N4L Allowance.5-month break,
one non-effort, 6 more weeks off poor win angle. Guns from rail?
2) Mega Rush (12/1)- Starter allowance Monster found $100k stakes foes too
much to handle. OK 3rd here in NC-Alw. company 4mo.ago. Inside speed.
3) Lay Line Force (8/1)- 3rd/4th when last in this condition locally. third start
off short break, feel Tri/Super BCS.
4) Whiskey Rebellion (6/1)- was 9/2 vs. $100K stakes foes going 330Y shorter
last out. Won this condition here 4mo.ago. ML Price juicy. Logical contender.
5) Pathoki (10/1)- Fresh speed off 3mo.vaca, finished LAST at this level last
pair. Fuzzy Lumpkins gets mount. Bet & get a Thrill for half-mile, at least.
6) Harlan Street (4/1)- 7YO warrior cuts back 440Y off 2-month freshening.
Gets Parker, Pace to close into. Expect half ML price if ready to go.
7) Hero Of Order (8/5ml fave)- Louisiana Derby 109/1 Winner cuts back 660Y
after cooking Hansen is speed duel 17 days ago. IF Hero runs, bet against.
8) Sunday Mass (5/1)- 3YO has won 4 straight going up class ladder since
being claimed for $10K. Acid Test in Local Debut. Last race "Key Race", beat
well meant Tom Amoss runner two back. Don't ignore in current form.

(Early Look: IF Hero runs, every other runner will provide overlay value Except
for 2nd choice Harlan Street. #2,4,5,& maybe even #8 should be great prices.
Note~ If Hero of Order scratches,
expect about Even Money on #6; 2/1 on #8; 3/1 on #4; & 9/2 on #2.)
