Anyone have any thoughts on this three-year old filly? She is a full sister to recent G2 Adirondak winner, Kauai Katie, who looks equally dominating in NY.
Always concerned on the move up in class on a runner like this but, man, she looked good winning both of her races.

There's plenty of speed for Winding Way to contend with here.
She is, also, the only 3yo in the race.
I think the race sets up for #1, or #7, if they stalk from fairly close up.
If Winding Way wins, she is better than I figured.

Connections said she doesn't need the lead and will likely rate.

Even more reason to be against her at 7/5 or so. Trying to do something for the first time, against older stake horses, at a short price, can win but at the price she will be no thanks.

Curious rider switch in here. Gomez gets off The #5 to ride #1 Rumor for Mandellla. I think that is the play here. Too much speed in here for Winding Way and should set up for the #1.

You don't see that everyday..... missed the break and still ran down older horses in 115 change

Was a nice call and she sure is talented . I find a three year old that's fit and ready can run down older horses on turf and the AW / synth . Not so much on dirt against the same class . The edge is still there , tougher IMO.
