why is Lemon Drop Dream 1:1? the horse has sprinted once on the turf and now stretches to 8.5F. It showed speed in a race that went 4-1-2-5-3 around the track with the top 5 finishers never more than 4.5 lengths apart.

On the other hand, Sonofasamurai, was wide on the 2nd turn and very green (from the whip) in the lane going 2 turns last out.

Not to mention a bunch of 1sters.

The :4: is out of a serious producer in Meghans Joy...plenty turf works and Rosario up...i bet she lays close.
The :9: sold for 9x the stud fee but will use underneath only as Mott isn't great first time out and the post is no bargain.

the 8 is absolutely home @ 19:1. the 1 and 7 have bid and couldn't get by her in the lane. then Chernetz just absolutely falls apart and the 1 gets up and the 8 just holds on for 2nd. wow. thought that the 8 got nosed at the wire for 2nd in the live feed. honestly, I only played 1-6, 6-1, 1-8 here. so I got a bit lucky. Then again, I've written extensively on how poor a jock Chernetz is. This is the 3rd time (of those I'm following) she's lost a race she should've won.

I've since done that and I make it between three horses:

:1:, Strong Impact: plenty of speed in the race and this one won't have to do it on the front end (unless Castellano ****s up); figures to get a perfect inside stalking trip.

:5:, Clip the Coupons: finished full of run behind Artest sprinting @ GP back in January. Long layoff; and that race completely fell apart; though he was in visually impressive stride late.

:2:, Seven Lively Sins: very nice off the pace effort a few weeks ago sprinting. will be coming with the 5.

I'm happy for Irad Ortiz on Questing who was thrown off a horse earlier in the day but was cleared to ride the rest of the afternoon....and yesterday he injured his ankle in the starting gate and was taken to Saratoga Hospital and then released as well as being cleared to ride for today...
