I don;t think those threads are an accurate picture. They just happen to be the most recent popular threads.

The board has doubled in size and tripled in active members in the last 9-18 months. Those threads will be also rans by this time next year.

The board is a bee hive lately. Got 2 contests going , a new harness forum, a 2nd Toga Trip, and even more steady streams of quality information than ever before. This is a good place to hang out.

To get an idea of the popularity of a thread, a better indicator might be the number of views per post.

For example:

Baseball playoffs = 12.8 VPP
SW contest = 51.5 VPP


It appears more people are interested in handicapping software than baseball around here, even if baseball generated more posts.
