Last Day of a mini vacation and looking to make some withdrawals from the Bank of SPA.
Fast and firm and scratches here

Sar 1
The :5: must have had some interest in the claim box as he scratches late.
Not a big Kelly fan but if the :3: can get a decent trip on the inside, she might have something late.
:1: and :2: seem the obvious choices.
The :1: could have problems with the rail and the :2: could not close into a dawdling stretch drive and gets new pilot.

Hello Turninforhome10 don't mind if I jump in again today?

Saratoga Race 1

The :8: gets my attention as a long shot here. Curently 10-1 on the line. Has some good sprint races in her resume before the 2 turf routes. Badgett drops her in class today(a 17% move) for 2nd start with his barn being a 20% angle. Some things to like.

Go get em Kid
How bout the pedigree on the :3: in the 2nd. Wondered who payed the stud fee? Took a big loss on that mating. 20k for a Giants Causeway ouch.

There we go 10-1 on an Espinoza return call. Love it and gonna sweat the double now as the was a big win ticket. Really liked the pedigree on the 3 for that job today. http://www.pedigreequery.com/rough+winter. Frosty the Snowman is some tough old grass stock.
I also like Jose as a ride back in the cheaper races. We had the Super kid. Lets post results for viewers for convenience.

The :4: appears to be a standout for me here. Toss the last off the turf affair. Assmussen takes the blinkers off today and has back races that would crush these

Should we be ashamed for making a 5yo mare the chalk in the 2nd with the :5: . Is the public betting connections or horse. I bit. The :4: IMHO is trying to be sold by Brewster putting with big name trainers. No buyers so far.
In MCL for fillies and mares, I always consider the cost of the pedigree at auction. Nobody gives away mares with family, but they will give away one from a poor mare with a big name stallion.
I also have to follow Rosario even though I played the :3: to see if the agent made the right switch to Harty. Harty seldom can find the winners circle as of late.

Wonder if the :4: got claimed as Brewster would probably sell her cheap.( No shots on your pick Kid). It just looked like a fire sale.

:1: is the dominant pace horse but may relinquish the early lead to the :7: who adds blinks and switches to a hustling jock...freshened with fast works.
Seems clear what they will do with him...send.
Ramon and the :2: will lay off this potential duel but i think he just doesn't wanna win...too many runner ups when he had a shot to win.
Best closer is the :5: who will have no excuses today with the pace set up he's gonna get.
Is this :4: good enough off the claim and class hike for Galluscio? Jock seemingly had two other choices and went here...hmmm...another who will be coming late.
Making the :1: my top choice as i think he makes the middle and takes control turning for home.

Looks like a million on the track for high% connections and should be coming late as he looks to stretch out next from a good effort today.
His pedigree is long

:5: got hammered late on the totes. Thought the pools would better without the :2: but alas. Watching the head on replay of that stretch was painful. Would look for underlays for next out starters from this race.

I'm not normally one gripe about the ride my horse got...BUT...imo Alvarado should have challenged for the lead down the backside thru those very slow splits. Annawon cannot finish with the best in this field, thus he needed to be in front when the real running began. Junior chose to sprint home with no head start...never gonna beat these with that tactic.

The :10: was a poor diciplined play. cold on the tote and connections should have been warmer if live. Agree about the trip POT, but Alvarado was probably not gonna have any horse after the first turn and getting hung out.
It is not smart to miss Weaver and get 6.90 for a almost sure class drop play. He either wins and gets the pot or looses and get claimed sorta speak from the standpoint of loosing the horse. Good call kid.
I think the thread is now 5 for 6?
