July 27, 1999 was just about when this household purchased its first computer and joined the Age of the Internet.Almost to the day. I was skeptical at first, and somewhat against the idea. I came around quickly.

But it was another four or five years before I latched on to this place. I caught the very end of The Vinery's message board, that seemed to migrate to Let It Ride, which evolved into something else, which devolved into various "pretty pony" fora.

I participated in a handicapping contest here with teams from various other boards. It was then I realized that this is where the handicappers are hanging out.

Well done, PA et al. Here's a morning coffee toast to many more years. :ThmbUp:

Without a doubt the best racing site on the net bar none. This is also a testimonial to most of the members on here who make this the number one destination forum by a country mile. Some members go to great lengths expressing their opinions, helping others, and even offering dissenting points of view. One can learn a lot about racing and life just by reading some of the threads.
