A very high opinion of him (they rate him the same as Camelot, a 127).

Personally, I agree that they are selling him short. I mean, the Bernard Baruch? Please.

If I owned him, I'd go for:
-Woodward (September 1)
-Shadwell Mile (October 6)
-Breeders' Cup Mile/Classic (depending on which prep is more impressive)

Lopresti is keeping several options open for him.
He's mentioned the Woodbine Mile and the JCGC , but I think he let's his horses readiness dictate when they will run . Seems to be a very patient trainer .
Wise Dan has been so versatile and as game as it gets . Looks like he needs
some spacing though , so if he ran him in Sept and Oct. don't know about the BCC .

This is a very good horse. Beaten a nose in a Grade 1 on dirt, a 117 on Poly and a powerful win in Gr 2 the other day. I tried to beat him at Saratoga; not that he wasn't good enough. Just had questions about a son of Wiseman's Ferry on soft turf. Was definitely wrong on that one.

BC Dirt mile, BC Mile or BC Classic? That's the question facing Lopresti.

The Stephen Foster was originally thought of as a weak race but it has turned out to be a very key race in his division. I would be thinking Shadwell then Breeders Cup. What a racehorse.
