I am current with my home loan payments, and I get a letter in the mail on Friday that says:

"If you do not call Bank of America within 30 days you may be in danger of foreclosure."

So I call, and I am told by a very nice person from India named "Sam" that those letters were sent out in error to "several" homeowners. Sorry for the inconvienence.

I believe it! This poor mortage has been through so many banks! I can't remember the frist one, but then they sold it, and the second one sold it as well, to CountryWide. Then BofA took over all the Countrywide.

Insanity!

Took nearly 5 months for my BofA refi to go thru. That with a credit score of over 800. Their incompetence is unmatched.

Interesting and absurd. I have a friend whose mortgage with BofA was just sold also to Nationwide. He cannot understand why.
