Another good Saratoga card today. As always I'll play the $10WP and roll the pick 3's for the buck. The picks..
Race -1 The Steeplechase race. All I know can be summed up like this. Voss, Sheppard or Fischer seem to win 50% of any jumper race I've watched. With that in mind, I'll tab the :6: on top and use the (3-6-8-9) in the pick 3.
Race -2 The :4: . Hard to get past the probable chalk here. 3rd time off the layoff for trainer hitting at 20% with the move. Has never been this cheap and sports a pair of bullets coming in. Should crush these. (4-2-6)
Race -3 The :6: . Looks like the one to beat off the layoff for 12% layoff trainer Brown. Double drops in class for a 29% move. The one to catch. (6-3-7)
Race -4 The :3: . A 2-year old race and Ward has the ML favorite. Good enough for me. Ran a solid 3rd at 1st asking at CD. Nice string of works for 23% layoff trainer. Drops to the Md Claiming ranks for 31% 2nd career start move to boot. (3-4-1A)
Race -5 The :5: . 10-1 ML shot for Jacobson. Claimed last out by 21% 1st off the claim trainer. Outfits main rider Cohen takes the mount. 25% trainer when trying to win back to back claiming races. First live longshot today.(5-1-3)
Race -6 The :5: . Taking a slight chance here. Ward trainee tries the weeds for the 1st time. He hits at 20% with 1st turfers. Ships in from an easy Mth win for a 27% shipping trainer. Should love the green today. (5-6-8)
Race -7 The :2: 12-1 on the line here for Martin. Goes dirt to turf for a 13% trainer move. Flashed speed going longer on the main track in previous 2 starts. Nice turf workout July 20th. Bombs away! (2-9-6)
Race -8 The :4: . 3rd time off the layoff for 22% layoff trainer Bailes. Bullet work at Laurel July 23rd for this. Has to right running style to win at this distance, Race is loaded with speed. Some things to like at 6-1. (4-5-6)
Race -9 The :10: . 3rd time off the layoff for Hushion who hits at 37% with the move. Just missed in last. Trainer ships in for another 32% move and is 29% with new horses. Throw in the huge jockey change from Lantz (who can't ride a bus) to Ramon, Best bet on the day. (10-9-2)
Race -10 The :7: . 3rd time off the shelf for Dutrow hitting at 29% with the move. 32% when droping in for a tag for the 1st time. Loses Castellano to the 6 but picks up Rosario today. (7-8-10)
