A few Tuesday plays. 7-24-12

A few plays to occupy my otherwise uneventful Tuesday. WP bets only here.

Finger Lakes Race -1 The :8: . Ran a solid 2nd at 1st asking when let off at 21-1. Trainer doesn't show too many runners so not much to go on there. Repeat of last takes this at 3-1 on the line.

Parx Race -6 The :7: . At 9-2 on the line here. 3rd time off the layoff for very solid conditioner. Takes the blinkers off today and just needs to carry her speed a little further. Wire to wire threat.

Suffolk Race -7 The :9: . Ran a well beaten 3rd as the favorite last out. Trainer hits at 24% right back off the losing favorite race. Check earner may have finally found the right field today.

Mountaineer Race -2 The :6: . At 4-1 on the line today. Claimed 2 back off the win at this distance,turf and level. Last race was too short going only 5F as the fav.Trainer hits at 24% when racing back off losing as the favorite. Owns the right stalking style for here and should get plenty of pace to run at.

Penn Race -8 The :2: . Always runs his race with consistant Bris figures every out. Closer gets some pace to run at in here and the added 1/16th of a mile should help.

Mountaineer Race -9 The :6: . 5-1 on the line here for Rone who claimed this one off a 2nd place finish last out. Rone hits at 14% 1st off the claim. Stalking postion with Houghton taking the ride today.

Mountaineer Race -10 The :3: . 6-1 ML shot to wrap up my Tuesday plays. Bumped at the start last out and had to resort to attempting to close. Finished 3rd in that effort. Likes to be close up so a cleaner break is needed today. Lumpkins on fire as of late. Some things to like.

I go 2 for 2 so far today with another ON TOP winner at 8-1!! Taking the blinkers off must have helped her relax a little as she came from off the pace to win.

Nice selection with the 7 in that parx race. I was a little worried about the 7 and was going to pass but once that big bet came in one the 1 I couldn't pass up the price on the 7. You picking him made it an an easy selection for me at 8-1. Thanks.

Yes. The :6: has actually ran faster Bris figs on the main track. I think the track change moves this up more.

just my opinion but the jock on the 5 horse in the 7th at mntr rode a terrible race. Had the lead but instead of milking him along he blew him out. He was done at the stretch.
