Does Nick Zito normally work his horses fast? (Hot West)

I'm interested in Hot West but scared of the 4% with 1st time starters stat.

I see the 3 bullets in a row in her workout tab. Does Zito normally work his 1st timers like that?

Nick mentioned this one on Andy Serling's radio show Thursday. He felt this was one horse in his stable that appeared to be ready to go first out.

Zito firsters have 4f works almost exclusively...rare that you will see one of his debuters with a 5f work, so don't be discouraged by the string of 1/2m moves.
I make it a requirement that a FTS has at least one 5f work, but Zito is an exception, although he rarely wins first out. Sprinting isn't Zito's game either so it makes sense that his distance bred stock struggles at 5-6f.
This one looks like a sprinter though (by Xtra Heat).

I fear he is getting hyped to the heavens and will be overbet today.
