A tough opening card as always at old Del Mar. Here's a few I like today. Going to play these picks at $10 WPS. I'll list my top 3 after my top pick for any pick 3 players that are interested. ( Note no picks for Race 1,2,7) Good Luck today...

Race -3 The :5: . 3rd time off the layoff for Mitchell who hits at 25% with the move. Add another 31% with the bump up in class. This one's last win came in a wire-to-wire effort over this surface so he likes it here. (5-6-1)

Race -4 The :6: . 2nd time off the claim for Hess a 16% move. Cuts back to a much better distance after the 1 1/2 mile effort off the shelf. A slight drop in class and Gomez retains the mount. (6-4-9)

Race -5 The :11: . Draws in off the AE list and he should be much tougher 2nd time out for an 11% trainer move. Was well bet in debut and has a nice 3F work over this surface for this. (11-7-3)

Race -6 The :9: . 3rd time off the layoff for Mullins. Has the right running style for this. Just needs a better timed move for the win. (9-1-3)

Race -8 The :10: . Consistant runner looks to get a great race set-up for his late kick. This one is a check earner but likes to settle for minor awards. (10-12-4)

Race -9 The :8: . Ships in off a solid stakes try last out for Hollendorfer when running 2nd as the fav. Trainer hits at 29% off the beaten favorite race. Style suits here. (8-9-1)

Race -10 The :11: . Off the layoff for 20% off the shelf trainer. Into the maiden claiming ranks for the first time for another 14% move. The one to catch. (11-2-12)

Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper !!

The 3 in the first race had to fight off two moves.

the 8 tried to duel with the 3 early, with the 6 stalking.

The 2 (fin 2nd) was probably 4th best.

R3

this goofy 4 horse (nonsense)
didn't run that bad last time. Dirt could move him up.

I like the 5 also. his works almost convinced me to bet.
Passing here.
