it all depends on the time of year and the way the tracks are playing on a particular day.

I guess I was thinking smaller tracks would be better for speed due to increase in turns. I am new to the game so I might be confused

Monmouth and Delaware are speed favoring. I play them for this reason.

One that is misinterpreted as a speed track because of circumference and the writing of 4 1/2 f races is Charles Town.

Monmouth and Delaware are speed favoring. I play them for this reason.this year, monmouth is very deep and you don't see that many horses winning on the front end. this will probably change with the lack of rain and real hot weather. another thing that effects monmouth because of the closeness to the ocean is the low and high tide and the direction of the wind.

its been really dry up here....no real rain for a month. if this weather pattern holds, watch both turf courses at saratoga. when that turf gets hard you will have a parade of front running turf winners. happens every year when its hot and dry. some of them are always bombers too. we get thunderstorms that can change this in half an hour but when those turf courses get hard....its a speed bias fest.

Polo I have played Charlestown and I didn't really like all the short races kind of like handicapping the quarters. I really don't like Los alimitos. I have seen a few races that it looks like the Jockey might quit on his horse probably he just knows the horse and its done.

I didn't see too many horses get caught on the Fair Grounds dirt last winter.

Ellis and Prairie Meadows, among the tracks currently racing that I follow.
