Thanks Jay, I appreciate the time and effort you put into that and I'm kind of honored that you chose to re-cap my selections.

However that was not correct. If I was checking another posters results I would not assume to know what they did or didn't actually play but would use a more generic/general approach. Because I didn't see their figs so I wouldn't know how deep each wager if any would go!

If I were to re-cap those same 9 races, I would say:

This guy had 3 winners on top and 8 of 9 finished ITM.
6 exactas boxed
4 trifectas boxed
2 supers boxed

Yes, my 4-1 rule applies to me. But not necessarily to all board readers!

JMO, thanks

Wow! You must have had a really great day at Belmont!!!! So, you mentioned previously you would show your figs for a particular card. Please do for the Belmont card if you would be so kind.

No Jay, I said for a race or 2. Not an entire card. Way too much typing for my old ass.

Pick 2 races and I'll do them!

Isn't this sort of the point of the talks for the last week or so? Without any kind of explanation everyone does just have to assume.

But wouldn't that thinking lead people to assume that you box all plays in exacta's, triples and supers? That's not exactly the type of plays that people (talking about newbies) should be jumping head first into.

After it's all said and done based on $1 bets (only on exotics) boxing your picks.
Race 1) you hit the ex, tri, super -$7.15
Race 2) Miss -$12.00
Race 3) ex -$4.00
Race 4) ex, tri, super (nice job) +$161.80
Race 5) ex, tri +$27.90
Race 6) Miss -$60.00
Race 7) ex,tri -$12.60
Race 8) Miss -$60.00
Race 9) ex -$49.80

all that equates to -$15.85 (assuming all my math is right) on a day where you gave out
6 exactas boxed
4 trifectas boxed
2 supers boxed

IMO that's why giving out 3/4 horses each race without any sort of structure really amounts to nothing.

OR one could assume that the first pick is the choice!

OR one could post their picks and leave others alone, just a thought???

If you can't make a profit of 4-1 then I pass. Just stating the results is all.

I never tell you what to bet!

SGWell, if you made that many great plays and a profit to boot based on the Belmont selections then I'm a Monkey's Uncle! Nothing to see here -- just another Ultimate Selector. Move along, move along! Have at it then.

Jay, the results you posted are bogus and you know it. Otherwise, you wouldn't have posted them. You based them on playing EVERY 4-1 shot I picked. No one plays like that. Most people are not that stupid??? Are you?

Explain it to me slowly how you made money on this card based on your posted selections, the odds and the subsequent results.

Dude, no ONE plays every friggin horse! My selections DID make money yesterday and most other days! I also said without my figs that you'd have no clue! Selective hearing/reading is not an asset.

You seem kind of arrogant for someone that only plays in free contests that you run and score? Maybe post a race a race or two in the open forum?

Christ, I even offered to post my figs for a race or two of your choice even today and you people continue to try to bust balls.

So what you are saying is the picks with no figs are totally useless. Glad we cleared that up.

Sort of begs the question....why post them then?

I also said without my figs that you'd have no clue! Selective hearing/reading is not an asset. As previously stated, why post them then?

You seem kind of arrogant for someone that only plays in free contests that you run and score?Arrogant, really? The only reason I even wandered over to your little world here is because you called "my little contest" lame and insinuated it was not a worthwhile endevour! So, who's the arrogant one?

Those "little" contests happen to offer over $16,000 in cash & merchandise. What have you contributed to this site other than posting random numbers?

Christ, I even offered to post my figs for a race or two of your choice even today and you people continue to try to bust balls.I asked you to post the Belmont card figs -- so then pick a couple races.

I'm not leaving here until you arrogant pricks ban me so have at it.That's unfortunate.

Belmont 4

1- na
2- 49
3- 19
4- 40
5- 25
6- 39
7- na
8- 36
9- scr
10- 25

I would not bet this race since the 2 has a 9+ pt. edge over the rest of the field and is 7-5 M/L. But there may be some value using the 4-6-8 underneath?

Solid_Gold
07-13-2012, 03:57 PM
Race 6

1- 118
2- 76
3- 106
4- 40
5- 100
6- 100
7- 86
8- 101

With these numbers looks like #1 is a solid play with 3 5 6 8 under if the value is there. But I think the #1 goes off too low and negates any value?
