--On Monday evenings from 7:30 P.M. EST to 10:00 P.M. EST, they broadcast the Woodbine harness races live on TV. They don't cover the entire card, but usually they can get in about 7 or 8 races on TV before they go off the air. It's broadcast on a cable channel named 'THE SCORE" (might even be broadcast on satellite TV, but don't know that for sure). It also has handicapping features for the evening's races with Mike Hamilton and some of the other commentators. In addition, there are interviews with drivers and trainers stationed at Woodbine, as well.

--Can someone tell me if "THE SCORE" channel is broadcast all across Canada, as well as in the U.S.? Also, is "THE SCORE" channel owned by the Woodbine Entertainment group per chance?

Thanks,

Trying2win

The score is not owned by Woodbine Entertainment. The
score is available across Canada on any cable station that wants
to pick it up. Theoretically a U.S. cable service could pick it up,
though I've never seen it anywhere. Besides its production
values and on air staff are not much better than a local Rogers
cable channel.

Hope this helps.

Cryptic,

--Yes, that does help. Thanks a million for the info.

--I believe the "The Score" cable channel lives up to its name, by mainly giving results (or the score) from various sporting events.
I'm assuming this channel runs 24 hr a day.
