I'm sure this question has been asked on this board, I tried to do a search, but no result.
My question is "On the average, how many races do you play, per week, or per day, or per month?
In my case its about 7 races a month.
Just interested. thanks

On average, 8-12 races per day across three tracks (this is Friday/Sat/Sun).

Including harness from The Meadowlands, Mohawk & Pocono and racing from Belmont, Monmouth, Woodbine, & Hollywood it becomes a long day of over 50 bets most of the time.

About 16 races per day 135-165 days per year.

Occasionally two, frequently none, but most often one race per day.

Caveat: I’ll play some $1 doubles while casually following the rest of the card. But it suits me to have one race make or break the day; once daily elevate the blood pressure and dilate the pupils.

Bulk wagering, 50-60 races a day on weekends, 40 or so on weekdays. Split almost evenly between thoroughbred and harness, and all with serious cherry picking for races in which (I think) I have an edge.

In addition, I bet one thoroughbred circuit seriously (trip notes, detailed trainer studies, etc.) and that averages about 3-4 races per card. I bet two harness tracks in similar fashion. Those are in addition to the bulk wagering.

For bulk wagers, I rarely watch the races. I just make the bets and check the results later in the evening (for thoroughbreds) or the next morning (for harness races).
